In the Committee of Supply Debate (2019) Senior Minister of State for Education Chee Hong Tat mentioned in parliament that his agencies are working with training providers to develop industry standards and expand overseas. One such initiative is that SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) supported a pilot project by the Strategic Association of Professional Training-Consulting Organisation (SAPTCO) to develop and export training programmes referenced to WSQ standards, starting with India and Vietnam. This will help training providers to export their services to overseas markets and encourage all interested training providers to get in touch with SSG.
